"I'm very happy with this watch. It combines the playfulness of a purely analog display with the rich features of a digital heart.

General appearance: considering the wealth of functions, it's surprisingly small. It's a sports watch, so you do get a solid weight and a certain bulk, but it doesn't look oversized even on rather small wrists. The comments I get are usually along the lines of "Now this surely has every feature under the sun." It's a true gadget and proud to show it. The design is very racing inspired: carbon fibre, dials looking like alloy wheels and F1 steering wheels, and hour markers resembling screws.

Handling: you do need to read the manual, but if you spend that time, it's not diffcult to use. After playing around with all the functions on the first morning, I can now easily operate them without looking anything up. The main function, showing the time, works well, the large hour and minute hands remain readable despite the multiple dials. the luminous strips glow on through the night, though they fade towards the morning.

Negative: (I'm nitpicking here, there's nothing really bad) switching between modes requires resetting the 3 o'clock dial, and that can feel a little slow. There is no independent hour hand motor, so it has to go a maximum of 12 minute hand revolutions to go to zero. There is an inconsistency in button use: timer and alarm mode use different buttons to set the time on the subdial. The alarm is not intended to wake heavy sleepers, it's more useful to remind you of events.

Positive: Unique design that really stands out from watches with similar functions. Top class gadget: it's a pleasure to watch the dials spin around in all the different modes, and the second hand acting as a mode indicator. The functions are easily accessible once you go through the manual, considering the need to do everything fully analog. Solid build, but not too large for comfort. The convenience of solar and radio control mean you have very low maintenance to always have the perfect time.

Service: Watches 1st delivered next morning as promised, and with the free bracelet adjustment I could wear it right out of the box. It was sufficiently powered to not require any initial charging.

This is the watch for you if you like technology and playing with it, and you're not put off by a little complexity. You'll be hard pressed to find this amount of functionality in a quality watch for such a price elsewhere. I three words: a typical Casio :-)

"This watch is actually quite easy to setup and use (not as complicated as it seems to be), especially if you're surely in the radio signal zone. The manual coming with the package is quite thick but you can always download a more straight forward one from Casio's official site (Cal.5061). For first use, just check the base position of all pointers are correct (there's a reset function if they're in wrong place, e.g. the hands are not pointing to zero when it's supposed to be), then set your timezone, then manually set to receiving signal mode, put it near a window with 12 o'clock position pointing towards the signal tower that's closest to your place, wait for 5 min and it shall be ready to go.

Some said that it doesn't support DST, this is not true. The problem is simply that you need to set it in DST mode once time switches (and set it back to STD), which takes slightly more effort than other electronic gadgets. (NOT reseting the time as the time is radio adjusted, it just have a mode called DST so you push 2-3 times button to set. See right half of the left dial for detail)

A feature I like a lot is that the left dial is in a shape of a racing wheel, while some dots looks like screws which also reminds me mechanical stuff especially those in a car. So I think this makes a pretty good watch for a car fans too.

The watch is controlled by 4 buttons, so the up-right button which looks like a screw is just for decoration.

To me, the only draw back might be that the illumination is not very bright and fades pretty quick in the dark, especially when you tested it under a lamp. However this doesn't mean that in the dark morning you can see nothing. The illumination is still in a not so bright but reasonable level. "
